Applicable toAll PlexHosted customers
Migrating from SharePoint 2007 to SharePoint 2010 is a step many organizations will consider. Although SharePoint 2010 offers users many more functionalities, it is also a more sophisticated product. At this time, there is no one-step method upgrading from our SharePoint 2007 environment to the new SharePoint 2010 platform. We must advise you that migrating from SharePoint 2007 to SharePoint 2010 is a very challenging experience to do in-house and may not be a very cost-effective solution.
For users wishing to make the transition to SharePoint 2010, we recommend launching 2010 initiatives while maintaining your current SharePoint 2007 deployments. PlexHosted is currently working on a set of automated tools and procedures to help current users migrate their SharePoint 2007 site to SharePoint 2010. These tools and procedures will be made available in the Control Panel and in the support section of our Web Site.
