How to enable graymail filtering at the McAfee Control Console

    This guide will show you how to enable graymail filtering at the McAfee Control Console.

    All Exchange accounts with McAfee SaaS Email Protection service enabled.
  • Prerequisite

    • An Exchange account with McAfee anti-spam/anti-virus service enabled.

  • Introduction: Graymail is numerous solicited bulk email messages like newsletters, notifications, deals and updates that you “opted into” receiving.

  • How to

  1. Sign in to the McAfee Control Console as Customer Administrator (https://plexhosted.portal.mcafeesaas.com).
  2. In the Email Protection tab navigate to Policies tab and choose the policy.
  3. Click on Edit.
  4. Go to the Spam tab.
  5. Choose the Action for the incoming graymail from the drop-down menu under graymail header.
  6. Click Save.
