How to upload multiple documents to a SharePoint 2013 Site

  • How to

    Note: The multi upload option is only available in the Internet Explorer.
    1. Log into SharePoint 2013 site.
    2. Click link with the library name where you want to upload multiple documents.
    3. In the Files tab click on Upload Document.
    4. Click on Upload files using Windows Explorer instead link in the Add a document window.
    5. Windows explorer folder will open. Drag and drop documents that you want to upload to SharePoint to this folder.
    6. Click Cancel in the Add a document window and refresh the page. Now you can see that your documents have been successfully uploaded.
